A micro gas plant is sponsored in the newly built hospital at Reay Road Mumbai.
This project was undertaken with the follwoing aims:➢ To organize and promote bee keeping, honey and other bee products industry in the Palghar region ➢ To promote and regulate domestic and export market of honey and other allied products ➢ To maintain close liaison with Government bodies to advise them on issues concerned with beekeepers ➢ To seek Government assistance to promote its objectives and organize suitable training ➢ To advise Government, tribal women farmers, and industry on matters relating to development of bee products and its expansion The initial role of Rotary SOBO and its partners is providing BEE BOXES and KITs, tie-up with government departments for approval of the project with a 50% subsidy; and impart training & knowledge to the tribal women through Forest department experts. Maharashtra Khadi Gramodyog Mahamandal collected all the required documents such as MKGM Form, Ration Card, Aadhar Card from the 46 – 47 beneficiaries and submitted to Forest officer, Collector of Palghar, District Agriculture officer and Directorate of Maharashtra Khadi Gramodyog Mahamandal for approval. After the approvals, Khadi Gramodyog started the 10 days training program with 46 – 47 women farmers at Waghyachiwadi. Khadi Gramodyog is to buy back the honey collected by these groups which gives them best rates at their village. In addition to incone generation, the project also aims to conserve biodiversity.
Hand sanitisers were distributed across hospitals, schools, medical centres, health and sanitation depts, vet dept, offices of the BMC across G south ward.
A public wall adjoining China Bistro, Worli was taken up to be painted. Our primary reason for this was to provide much needed livelihood to artists and painters; and to beautify our urban surroundings.

Diwali celebrations with the children of Vatsalya. Fun, games and distribution of goodies on the occasion of Diwali. 2-hour games event for the 45 boys at the Vatsalya Foundation with the help of *sports coaches of the OSCAR Foundation, Saurav and Shoaib* and also distributed t-shirts, backpacks, bedsheets and Diwali snack boxes. The bedsheets were graciously donated by *Rashi*, the backpacks by our well-wisher *Bhavesh Bhafna* (lives at LP), t-shirts and backpacks by *Ivy, Ravi, Pallavi and Umesh.* We received tremendous support by volunteers of our about-to-be-created *Rotary Community Corps of Byculla* (local field volunteers who will be associated with our club). The kids were delighted and ended a morning well-spent with fun dance performances! Diwali at its best ??
Distribution of Diwali sweet boxes to 160 Students and 5 teaching staff. Ratnanidhi trust also distributed 160 notebooks and pens to all students.
In kind donations of items required for feeding of rescued dogs and cats, as well as upkeep of the animal shelter run by Welfare of Stray Dogs (WSD) were made.
Mega blood donation camp organised in association with Indian Railways at CSMT, Churchgate, Dadar, Bandra, Andheri, Borivali, Mulund, Ghatkopar, Thane and Vashi stations.
